The Hungarian District Heating Association (MaTáSzSz) was established in 1993 and has continuously evolved. Over the years, the number of member companies has multiplied. Today, companies affiliated with MaTáSzSz provide district heating services to nearly 650,000 district-heated apartments, representing 98% of all such apartments in Hungary.
Our association's mission is to provide effective professional support to our members in the following areas:

Through our professional exhibitions and conferences, we create opportunities for participants to learn about the latest technological and research developments and technical innovations in the district heating sector.
Our diverse programs contribute to building and strengthening relationships between service providers and suppliers within the sector.
The association's office conducts advocacy efforts, maintaining relationships with relevant ministries, authorities, parliamentary and European committees, and Euroheat & Power. By aligning district heating providers' professional and economic interests, we play a significant role in decision-making processes that affect the sector.
We promote the widespread adoption of the latest industry innovations and solutions that support environmental and climate protection and energy efficiency.
