The Hungarian District Heating Association (hereinafter: MaTáSzSz or Association) organizes this Autumn the
XXV. DISTRICT HEATING CONFERENCE AND TRADE EXHIBITION
Date: 9-11 November 2026.
Venue: Hunguest BÁL Resort****, Balatonalmádi
At our conference this autumn, we are replacing the majority of traditional, one-way lectures with dynamic panel discussions. With this new structure, the focus shifts to genuine dialogue, where sector experts will explore the industry's most significant challenges from multiple perspectives through live exchanges of ideas. This way, more practical information and deeper content await participants at the district heating sector's most prestigious domestic event.
The domestic and international panel discussions of the conference will cover the key topics of the profession:
- Sector integration (sector coupling): The interconnection of district heating systems and the electricity grid, with a focus on flexibility. (in Hungarian)
- Digitalization: Smart, data-driven networks and real-time control in everyday practice. (in Hungarian)
- Strategic dialogue: A roundtable discussion among key players in the domestic district heating sector regarding regulation, licensing, financing, and strategic issues defining the future of the industry. (interpretation provided)
- Horizontal outlook: Current regulatory and technological experiences from neighboring countries and the EU. (international)
- District cooling: Operational models and best practices in sustainable urban cooling from within and outside the EU. (international)
